What happens in a typical session? We begin with relaxation, followed by breathing exercises. Most of the session is devoted to practicing postures; varied sequences covering the full range of yoga movement. We conclude with final relaxation. Jennifer teaches through verbal instruction, demonstration and hands-on adjustment. Pairwork sometimes happens!
I'm pregnant. Can I practice yoga? Yoga can be extremely beneficial during pregnancy. Jennifer recommends that you attend a specially designated pregnancy yoga class. Jennifer recommends Wendy Teasdill, an expert in pregnancy yoga who holds classes locally.
I have a specific health condition. Can I come along? Yoga has a therapeutic application and can be useful in treating a wide range of conditions. However it may not be appropriate in all cases. In the first instance you should seek advice from your GP and contact Jennifer for a confidential discussion. You may also consider private sessions which would be tailored to your specific needs.
